| @mdz I've only watched 7 of the animes in your dropped list, but it's somewhat easy to follow your reasons as you made note of that. I really think you ought to give Durarara!! another chance since you've only watched 6 episodes and the story gets better after that. I highly recommend watching a couple more episodes and then see if you really like it or not. =) |

| @Kaminator. I have been watching anime on and off for some years now. I have been on MAl for a while but only really just started using it, and getting back in to anime in a bigger way. Is there any really good anime you could recommend that i don't have on my list, that i should watch if the top anime list is unreliable? ( I didn't know how the rankings really worked) I am going to back and watch Baccano! soon. I watched a few episodes of Durarara!! but i never got in to it, I don't think it was my style. With Higurashi I watched the first story part and it freaked the hell out of me lol so i never went back after that. |

| @Elmunso's i highly recommend you watch the first four animes on your dropped list Baccano!- fantastic great characters along with a great story line 9/10 bakemonogatari- very wierd, slow at time, its ghost stories with some weird developments. characters are good. but overall enjoyment factor is through the roof 9/10 Death Note- do i need to say any more, watch one of the most popular shows in anime. great characters all memorable! i guess you would say second part of death not not near as good as the first part. but thats hard to compete with or compare to. 10/10 Durarara!!- personally my favorite anime ive seen. first 4 episodes are basically introductions, once you get past that its a great view. you ask how are these character going to mesh. well after watching the mesh very well in a great anime driven by every element! must watch! 10/10 |

| @reyvateilsmelody first off, I absolutely love your list! It is amazing! Anyway, going from your "on-hold" list since I see nothing I think you should pick up again from the dropped list (just not familiar with them), I'd say that you should finish up the first half of Death Note (the first half storywise, it's more than 50% of the show in terms of episode count, but you'll know when you've hit the end of the first half, you just will). I don't think the second half is worth watching all that much, but I think the payoff for the first half is more than worth it. |

I think you just ran into the 1-2 filler episodes in the middle there, but surprisingly they have a meaning that is revealed later on, stick with it! @ mippa Jyu Oh Sei - It gets pretty good later on with some romance but mainly some pretty nice fight scenes and an end plot turn that is surprising. @ Aruetha Claymore - Definitely an anime worth watching hands down, it's one of my personal favorites. (I feel like I've already said this earlier in the thread but I couldn't find my post so sorry if this is a repeat) |

I enjoyed the dubbed version but either way you wont loose out on the good stuff, regardless of the version definitely watch it, even sliverofdivinity agrees haha (I don't think she saw that I had already suggested you give it another shot lol) @ sliverofdivinity Fruits Basket - Cmon, I'm a boy and I even enjoyed this which I'm pretty sure is geared more for girls but I do know quite a few people who loathed it. In my opinion it's worth watching, good story line, romance and some minor action. Spice and Wolf - Not sure if you were watching this in subbed or dubbed but it's a lot easier to follow in dubbed since is a very dialog based series.
