| It can work for anime too, just depends on the style//character I think. In my head, her deal is that her plasma/fire ball thingies effect her emotions as well as her sanity depending on which one and how many she summons, she goes into a berserker like state when she combines the two :P So her magic works on a kind of sanity point system in place of mana.. |

Try drawing her butt (sorry for saying it like this haha) as a reference then you can erase it but it will help you to know where to put the legs. And another comment,i think the neck is a little bit short. The rest is really good. |

Not much into art / drawing myself anymore, but I used to be really into it in highschool so I still have some talent left... was never good at coloring though, so most (if not all) of my drawings were in black and white, and I still only draw in black and white (when I do draw that is). |

| Yeah I can see what you mean. I wanted the main focal point to be around the face, so I wanted the lighting to be a little brighter there. But I did it wrong as I can see in your paint over lol. Though I purposely made the eyes over bright and glowy as I thought it'd be a little creepy.. not sure I pulled that off though. Because once again, the hair it so bright that it takes away from that fact. If I wanted that effect I should made the eyes the most saturated in the picture, and the surrounding elements more in the likes of your paint over.. Thanks for the feedback! Stuff like this helps with analysis ^^ |
