Hey all new website but been read it long time thouht I post this I not sure if any you young people rember Serial Experiments Lain was way back in 1998 It made me link this to Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica not sure why maybe it just me ;) same as ema

Ahh it was the ending with madoka and her get wipe from the world like lain not sure if anyone agree with me buit thought I post it :D

SO is there any more anime similar to this ?

No other anime has made me experience so fully the range of human emotions.

Sadness that comes from loss of someone close.

Remorse for decisions with unintended consequences.
Anticipation for the next episode. =D

There is no anime on the same level as Madoka. There are only those that are a faint shadow and imitation of it.

I'd say Uta~Kata, it also attempts to deconstruct some magical girl tropes and it's a darker mahou shoujo similar to Puella Magi.^^

Selector infected wixoss. Selector and Madoka both take the formula that is normal for Anime of the card game genre and magical girl genre and places a dark twist on it involving the fulfillment of wishes happening. On top of these wishes having a darker side to them there is the fact there is a “pure” character, a character that happens to have a positive outlook on life and easily be able to make friends with people. The characters also don't have a wish because they can't think of anything to actually wish for. There is also quite a bit of slice of life elements as well as character growth over the course of the series. There is a wide range of characters. The issues each character deals with helps round out the characters as well They both start slow but they will have you on the edge of your seat. They both start pretty cute and innocent but as the story progress they end up bring dark
