Probably for plot convenience so the mangaka could pair up Rin and Daikichi |

| It's just that I can buy her excuse when she first refused his proposal when they were in their 30's but then after 10 years she lost me with her reasoning for refusing his second proposal! I think it was something around the lines that she doesn't want him to look after her when she's old but it would have been a different story if it was the reverse (like if he acted spoiled or something). But yeah I would have preferred if they ended up together rather than how the manga ended. |
