| i've had three cats in my life: first was puff (i called him bob), he was an uber-fluffy brownish orange and white ball of awesomeness. we got him when i was four or five years old. he loved sucking the pimentos out of olives and chasing grasshoppers (never hurt them..at least on purpose). he was kinda picky about stuff too...like he didn't like to use the litter box if the light was out, so if it was and he had to go, he would come upstairs and meow for me so i could illuminate things for him. he had a loooong happy life, lived till he was 19. then was rowdy...insane! sweet though...and one of those permanently tiny cats. same color as bob but shorthaired. she loved to sleep with me, but inevitably in the middle of the night one of two things would happen...either she would work her way up and sleep basically on my head or i would move and she'd flip and go into supercrazyclaw attack mode...sometimes near sensitive areas *eek*. had to get rid of her when my parents split up cuz neither of them wanted her. =( and charlie, my most recent...rescue cat and had some issues cuz of it. he hated being alone and would cry (more like wail) if left alone for more than like 20 min. i called him no-luck chuck because he was the least graceful cat i've ever seen. he was a living youtube "crazy cat moments" video falling all over the place. he was jet black and beautiful. he looooved attention and would purr like crazy just at the suggestion of being petted. after about a year he got really sick and we gave him back to the lady we got him from because she had a friend who was a vet and would nurse him back to health for free. he's still alive because of it. wow wrote a ton there...sorry no pictures...i'll work on finding one maybe |

| Yay, awesome topic, I was just thinking about something like this. Kitty, your pets are so kawaii :D in that pic, Conan has a typical disinterested feline expression, like he's saying 'leave me alone already, me wanna sleep'. @bill Another cat lover, eh? Awww, all of your cats seem to have quite interesting stories I absolutely love cats and animals in general, though for some reason, me and dogs don't get along all too well. My first pets were two canaries when I was about 6 years old, IIRC. They were always so lively, but I don't remember them too well (oh, old age and senility are getting the better of me xD ) Next we had a dog, but it was for a short period of time. Later I tried to convince my parents to buy me a hamster, but my mom wouldn't hear about it, for she HATES rodents. :( Then starts the era of cats which lasts till this day. I can't even remember how many cats I've had. My sister and I have a soft spot for them, so there were occasions when one of us would bring home an abandoned kitten. Of course, that drove our mom crazy, but eventually she became fond of cats almost as much as we are. At the moment I have only one cat, a tom cat named Schwartz, but there were times I had 4 cats at the same time and that was madness >.< Somehow, most of my cats have been males, and quite lazy ones at that. | I got three cats, four last year. First one is Gizmo, a 20 year old grey/black striped cat, has one eye left, one tooth left and one brain halve left. He is most likely the ugliest cat you can imagine but we love him much none the less. Second one is Nori, a white/black striped cat, sister of Sephi. Really shy and likes to attack you out of the blue, doesn't mind Gizmo much. Sephi, named after Sephiroth, is a gray/white striped cat. SUPER Fluffy, always has a "Muh?!" drowsy look and is super cute. He always comes begging for attention and I somehow always succumb to it, throwing his mouse around the room while he chases it like a maniac, being all proud once caught. Fourth one is Bobber... She was very shy but very friendly and a very weird cracking meow. She died last year and I miss her very much, she was a pure black cat, very short and had a very long life for 23 years old. She even survived a horrorstrucken dog attack, her guts were all over the place, a very disturbing image that will be imprinted on my eyes forever, but she somehow survived it. She died of some kind of cancer, she didn't move at all anymore at a given moment and didn't even meow anymore. We decide with great reluctance to send her to cat-heaven and hope she's doing fine there. *Cries softly* So... other from cats i never had any pets, when I'm going to live on my own I'm pretty sure I'll take a cat, maybe a twin so they can play with eachother. ^-^ |
| Cute kitties!!!! When I was born my mom had two parakeets, Anne and Ville. They died when I was 6 years old. They were born in 1985 so they lived quite long! Then my first own pets were two twin rabbits called Lumikki and Tuhkimo ( Snow White and Cinderella in Finnish). Their fur was white with black dots, Lumikki had lesser black dots than Tuhkimo had obviously. Lumkki died in 2005 and Tuhkimo 2007. Still missing them a lot <3 Now I'm living with my dog, Väinö "Väiski" Väinämöinen ( The name is from Kalevala). He's a West Highland White Terrier. His father is German and mother is Finnish. He'll turn 6 in this year. Very selfish, but we're doing just fine =) Some pics of Väiski: |

| i'm jealous of your dogs...my damn parents never liked dogs and when i moved on my own i never lived in a place that allowed them. and now of course i'm back with dad taking care of him...and he still doesn't like dogs. =\ they're adorable btw, Cookie and Väiski |

| I've had so many pets over the years... it's just crazy. Right now we have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 4 fish, a bird and a hamster. I only have pictures of the dogs though :P |

| Waaa I'm so jealous! Really cute cats! I've never had any pets before lol. My whole family hates animals. My cousin has a dog though, her name's Tiger, and I love playing with her! She's huuuuge though. The 1st time I met her she was a puppy and so cute! And then the 2nd time I met her she growled at me! I swear I think she's half wolf or something. But I still think she's awesome, she plays with me everytime I see her. I'll ask my cousin for a pic of her, and can hopefully put it up. :) |

| He is, he weight 25 lbs. He's on a diet. Because we got a dog three years ago I started feeding them in my room but because I'm always in here they always want to eat. So, I just moved there food in the other room and it seems to be working. I can't wait till the pounds come off. The poor cat wobbles when he runs. LOL ^_^ |
| Owwww, such awesome pets you've got, Himari <3 That cat is big, reminds me a bit of a cat of mine I had several years ago. He could eat everything and anything and was incredibly lazy. My grandma was convinced the cat was pregnant for months even though i assured her it's a 'he' xD @Lotus I remember watching some shows on AnimalPlanet where they would try to make obese pets lose weight. And treadmills were of little use, especially for cats (it was funny to watch though xD but poor animals) |

| @Himari My grandma's cat, Osku was a bit overweight couple of years ago, because she fed him all the time with milk candies. Then she bought some diet food for cats and nowadays Osku is healthy and gorgeous male cat. =) @Lotus Great video indeed. Cats are so cutie @Cyan Smokey looks so sweet. Especially the color of his fur is nice. |

| @Lotus He's on Science Diet now, I'm just waiting for the pounds to shed. I was pretty guilty of that too. Always putting food in there bowl and just keeping it fill. At night time they were horrible, always wanting to eat. Now there much better and want to eat less. I'm also trying to give them more attention to distract them. I'm brushing Duncan (the little fatty) everyday. He's just loving it up so much. OMG does a lot of hair come out. I can make a couple sweaters. LOL Btw, Your puppy is adorable, he looks like a little doll. @Cyan87 My cat does that too. He'll grab my face with his too pawl's if I reach down to pet his little head and he'll start licking my nose and face. He love's to give us baths. He's a real lovable cat, but that tongue can be rough. LOL ^_^ @Metro Your kitty is very cute! Great pic btw! |

My kitty comes along everyday and tries to sit on my laptop. Grrrr I usually try and block him with my foot, but then he bites it *sigh* gently at least . LOL So, he sits to the side of it and sometimes he reaches his paw over my keyboard and pauses my anime while I'm trying to watch it. LOL This is what I have to deal with everyday.   What's most annoying, is when he goes ape shit, and starts pawing at my screen like crazy.  |

| Aww, chinchillas are so cute :3 I used to want one myself when I was younger but I got hamster instead. =D We have had some pets during my lifetime (2 dogs, 2 hamsters and 3 cats) now there is just one old lazy cat in the house, Leevi Antero (I like to call him Lewis Andersson). |
Sure. Here's three: One funny thing with him is how he just keeps following you if you take him outside. I have taken him for a walk a couple times like a dog. :D No matter how long away from home I walk he just keeps up. |

| @Arizona That's true, but what do mean by 'strange character' exactly? @aeco Kawaiiiii! Heh, Leevi really loves you :D following you everywhere :D My dog also stays faithfully by my side even he's not in a leash. We sometimes run together in woods. My grandma has a similar looking cat called Osku (Oskari) :D Unfortunately I don't have pics about him on this comp : / He was adopted, so we don't know about his proper age, but the vet said that he is about 8 or 9 years old. |

| @Lumikki well, i don't know how to explain, you have to pay lot of attention to it, loooot of,cuz it can go crazy.. well they have evil sides or smt :D thats way you always have to keep an eye on it and give him lot of space,they dont like to be in the cage,change food,cuz they get bored of it and just dont eat until you buy something else...i dont know,it's hard to deal animal :D |

Väiski seems to be a cute little fella. :3 I like how he's dressed up in the pics you posted. @Lotus Heh, Leevi's usual facial expression looks angry but he's the most calm and kindest cat I've known. :) |
