| Well, besides being not too great compared to the rest of the NoitaminA shows they're both still very good compared to 98% of the other series airing outside the NoitaminA timeslot. |

Otaku core is not their primary audience (though appealing to both otaku and non-otaku is always the best approach for success, see e.g. AnoHana for example). Fanservice has never been a big part of most noitaminA series so I don't know what you're getting at. |
