| wow, interesting topic! ^^ i didn't think of anything like this. <3 anyways, i think they would have gotten together if Yui wasn't so obsessed with ruining Miaka's life. then she would have noticed the feelings they had for each other. i also think there were feelings there. they had to love each other. <3(: they were cute together as well. |

| I'm okay with the Yui x Nakago pairing... but I'm okay with her and practically anybody as long as she quits her creepy obsession with Tamahome. Throughout this entire series she was just sort of a negative character for me... I can't stand her or people like her (backstabbing, two-faced people). But I'm glad it worked out in the end (although it doesn't make me hate her any less). |
| I like Yui with Suboshi. I never liked the pairing of Nakago and Yui because Yui wasn't supposed to be the priestesss of Seiryuu anyway. They said that near the beginning that two priestesses being there at the same time was disrupting the book's world's order. Of course, it could be argued that Miaka should have finished and then Yui go inside the book but I just prefer Yui staying out of the book. ^_~ |

| To tell the truth, I like Nakago with Soi. :) (As Watase if I'm not mistaken.) But I'm also okay with the Nakago & Yui pairing. It would have been interesting, if they end up together. But I liked that scene (in the 2nd OVA and in the later manga chapters in the 18th volume (105th chapter)) when Nakago's earring (I mean the blue light came from it) protected Yui and the others. :) It was so touching to me. :) |

I think at the time, Yui was desperately searching for someone to love her, since Miaka (her best friend) found Tamahome. Then Tamahome chose Miaka over her. I can't blame her if that's how she felt. That time she lost both her best friend and her love interest (like a double-edged sword) This aside, I think Nakago played the part as well since he was so desperate to have a priestess on their side. Carrying Soi's body (when she died) tells me that he also had feelings for her. To note as well, I've read in one of Yuu Watase's interview that her favorite character is Nakago, which is quite interesting. :) |

| I like Nakago x Soi. It seems to me, Nakago was only using Yui. And Yui with Suboshi -- that time, it's like Yui is only comforting Suboshi to gain his trust. :( |

| I don't think that Yui and Nakago suit each other. She had Nakago for more than 3 months by her side and she believed still to love Tamahome. She trusted him, but she never fell in love with him. Nakago would need someone who could not be manipulated by him. A strong woman who can oppose him, but loves him dearly. A silly girl like Yui who would start a war about petty things and so kills many innocent people is not good. She is only smart in school, but in the real life Miaka is smarter than her. |

But Yui wasn't the real Seiryuu no Miko because two mikos can't appear at the same time. And it's not only Nakagos fault, for love you need two people. The mikos were the one, who made the first step to their seishi, but Yui didn't make that. Yui's thoughts were always about Tamahome, Miaka and the stupid English vocabulary. You can't compare the four main seishi with each other. Tamahome hadn't such a harsh past than Uruki and Nakago. The story about Tatara is unknown. |

| Oh, my comments are pointless? I don't think so (and we're on a English forum, so write in English, if you offend other people). I know their are your favorite pairing. But there are points that differ in relation to the other couples strongly. The miko is a really charming being for the seishi, so the seishi can't resist her and follow her. But look at the seiryuu seven, Soi wasn't here for Yui, but Nakago, Ashitare and Tomo, too. Amiboshi even don't know his miko and I don't think that Miboshi have a thing for Yui. The only one, who was really interested in Yui, was Suboshi. The Miko is the centre of the seishi, but not with the seiryuu seven. Their centre was Nakago. Look at the suzaku or genbu, they gathered around their mikos and the main seishi weren't never the centre. It was for both mikos really difficult, especially for Takiko, to look for their seishi. So there are points that Yui wasn't the actual seiryuu no miko. |
