| Can anyone recommend high-quality and popular, but perhaps now forgotten, school shonens from the time period between the 80s and 00s? Romcoms, battle shonens or even science fiction, but mainly in a school setting, and not full fantasy like Slayers. In general, something that you could see in those years on Western TV like Detective Conan or Kimagure Orange Road. |

| It's not really a school setting, (some is of it is, but not overall) but I don't see Yu Yu Hakusho in your list. I second FMP!, though. Also, GTO. |
