Good question. I like Gon, of course. Other than that, Leorio and Kurapika are both cool characters. I never much cared for Killua honestly. I like Leorio's motivations. Maybe we will get to see some character development if togashi ever decides to work on his manga.

I love Meruem and Komugi but how is Killua an edgelord lol. I guess early on I could see it but a big reason why he's my favorite is that he's the sweetest, most caring character.

I think it’s his unpredictably when watching the show for the first time and minus the sus bits he was very much capable of establishing an ominous presence which we enjoy. He is an accurate representative of the “Hunter” ideology I would say.
