| It sounds like fun to me, in the context of the Suicide Squad this is something new (at least as far as I know) getting transported to a fantasy world and seeing how they interact with it and how the plot unfolds. I think it’s being ridiculous on purpose and incorporating them in the most anime related genre possible. Making just another Suicide Squad story but in anime form actually seems more basic and less unique. |
| There's also no reason why this doesn't need to be an isekai either, if it's just an anime about Suicide Squad fighting Batman or other DC characters again it would be quite boring. Joker and Harley Quinn got isekai'd sound interesting not gonna lie :D |

| OP is one of those people who sees the word Isekai and already assumes is gonna be another generic SAO copycat, Ninja Batman is an Isekai, was that one generic? (it was bad, mind you, but not generic) Chihiro, Digiom, Sonny Boy, Escaflowne, Rayearth are all Isekai, but not the shows that first come to mind when one thinks of that word. Maybe don't get so triggered and make preassumptions just yet? |

| I don't look at upcoming anime and say they're bad before I even get to watch them. Isekai bad is a funny circlejerk and while this may be true for a lot of anime, it's still funny how you're sp up in arms about it without having even watched the show yet. |
