I wonder what her date will think. Is Kabi not aware that her date will probably read this?

Though, I guess she shouldn't have to fake her feelings for someone else, especially when she's being honest about her life. I'm glad that she keeps having realizations about herself.

When learning how to socialise with others and form relationships, a big thing that will help you form relationships is showing interest in others, and putting your wants aside for them. Almost being 30, its understandable that shes feeling a bit desperate for human touch, but she reminds herself that for a meaningful relationship (which she knows is better for her and will make her happier in the long term,) she needs to become less self-centered and put aside some of her wants to make room for those of the people she wants to introduce into her life.

Off topic from that point, but I find it a bit odd that her date was so overly interested in her, when she seems to be quite non-responsive. I understand that the date knows Kabi is awkward, but she seemed overly eager to get into a relationship. I wonder why. Maybe the date went better than it seemed it had.

Either way, I'm glad Kabi is getting out of her comfort zone a bit. I noticed that I'm reminded to continue reading this manga when I am in need of some self-improvement inspiration. She didn't seem to be feeling this date, but at least she had her first date, right?
