I am curious what most of you do when you wanna continue a serie but the anime stopped around chapter 60 do u start from chapter 1 or chapter 61?

Not a manga reader, I am a LN reader. I barely watched any manga adaptations too (I fell asleep watching AoT S3, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover, Fire Force, etc).

For LN, it depends on the adaptation.

If it is a terrible adaptation such as Toaru Majutsu No Index, start from Volume 1.

If adaptation falls apart midway such as Mushoku Tensei, start from where it falls apart, such as Volume 4 of Mushoku Tensei.

If adaptation is great such as 86, start from where the anime ends.

it's not that bad i read all of onepiece from the start in 3 months compared to that AOT is short.

idk I don't really read manga but I guess it would depend on how long the series is I guess if it's like more than 100 to 120 chapters than I'd just continue from where I was in the anime

I read from the start. If you start at like chapter 60 you can’t really log it on MAL because it would say you’ve read 60 chapters but you haven’t.

Better to read from chapter 1, since the anime and manga can be quite different so you can actually see more content which wasn't shown in the anime adaption if you read it all again in manga.

I usually read where the anime ended, unless the anime isn’t faithful to the manga. In that case I start from the beginning as I don’t want to be confused or miss out on stuff.
