This turned up today, so wanting a laugh, gave it a shot. (actually this is from 1981)
We get introduced to the Family where the Dad is a compulsive Gambler, who loses most of the time.
The young Girl "Chie" single-handedly runs the Cafe after finishing School, serving all kinds of customers.
A good few laughs meant i made the right choice starting this, trouble is only one episode for now.

It feels a little weird for using scenes from the movie. The timing and structure of the scenes are unnatural because of it at times. Still I'm glad someone is finally translating it. I guess it will get better when they move away from adapting and using the same footage as the movie.
The translator said they would release two eps a month, so I guess I'll see it all in about two and a half years lol
