| Shiki Tohno and Shirou followed by Canaan if she even counts as a Type-Moon Protagonist. Ryougi, Aoko and Kiritsugu are all great as well. I heavily dislike Sieg and Ritsuka though and know too little about The EXverse to judge Hakuno fairly so yeah |

| Shiki Ryougi At first, I didn’t care about her character when I started the first movie but as I go on until the very end of the series and give the whole thing re-watches through chronological order, her growth blew my mind away. She is arguably my favorite character in animanga and my 4th favorite character in all of fiction. She has very outstanding dynamics with Mikiya and other characters like Touko and Enjou, she explores the meaning of death throughout and she elaborates both herself and her journey in the 8th movie in an elegant presentation. Even without the 8th movie (and/or the 7th movie for that matter), she’s still a brilliant character all around. Kiritsugu, Tohno, and Shirou are also amazing characters. |

| Shirou > Shiki Tohno > Prillya > Kiritsugu roughly. I'm not exactly caught up on 3rei so I can't comment for certain but it just comes down to whether I dislike urobuchi's kiritsugu or hiroyama's illya more and I'd say kiritsugu gets the edge (lol) just by a bit namely cuz of the way he got used as butcher's mouthpiece more than once during his series. |
| Gotta go with Shiki Ryougi. I was invested in her character during the second movie. Love her backstory and origin. She is such a mysterious heroine that kept me interested. |
