| Bit late to the party, but having watched Madoka Magica dozens of times, this is my recommendation - Watch the TV series first, because it gives the full experience. The OP/ED songs, first few minutes of Episode 1, are all important. Once you have watched the TV series, you don't need to watch it again; move on the Rebellion (3rd movie). If you wanna rewatch Madoka Magica, watch the two recap movies. The additional OST and transformation sequence add to the experience and have a new kind of emotions to them. At last, you may proceed to watching Magia Record if you wish. Most MadoMagi fans don't like it that much, but to me, it gives a different perspective altogether. Atleast watch it for cool sakuga animation so that you can get hyped for 4th movie. |
