Horrible ending! Is Delta worth watching? (Spoilers for the Show and Movies)

Watched the series and it had a really unsatisfactory ending and I did not like it at all. Then I watched the two movies and bruh? They resolved the love triangle but then kill Alto and leave Sheryl in a coma. What was this? I am so tired of good shows having extremely bad endings.

Apologies for the rant but I just hate it when I invest so much time in a show only for it to end in such an unsatisfactory way. I only get time to watch like y shows a year due to work.

Anyways, can anyone tell me if Macross Delta has a decent ending?

I belive the movie rectified the ending of the animation but I honestlyI still enjoyed them. in terms of would I watch it I enjoyed delta I would say give it a go

Just watch the F movies. It serves as alternative version of the TV series.

I have very mixed feelings about Delta. The characters were bland as hell, the art and animation does not stand up to Macross standards, and the plot was just your regular Macross formula without anything unique to it. The biggest offense for me was probably how they managed to make every single battle interesting at the very end then just end it right there.

That being said, I liked Walküre songs though, it was what if idols were good.

Oct. 2022, we have Delta Zettai Live, now it's definitely worth watching.
