| kinda necro but whatever. haven't read the manga entirely but all i can say is looks like the anime just skims over the story. lots of small details and character depth missing, last 5 chapters weren't even adapted. no wonder i felt nothing was completely developed, felt like the anime was forcing itself to be something it couldn't be. in the end, it wasn't the story that was bad, it was the adaptation. if i had to give a number on how faithful it is. i'd say 70%. skeleton of the story was adapted alright, but there wasn't enough time given to the flesh. if you wanna watch it for the story after reading the manga, ain't worth it. now, if you wanna watch it for all it's sakuga sequences during the sessions, go for it. |
