I mean I've seen Caravan Palace's Lone Digger Music Video and I would say that is more violent than this.

Still a good music video though.

The animation was cool (rough, but cool). And the song wasn't terrible, but the song (and even the video concept, to a lesser degree) was virtually a remix of Snoop Dogg's 'Whats My Name'- I thought that tb303 bassline was just sampled from that song, at first. And the badly-mixed strings just seemed like a botched attempt to re-create early Wu Tang.

It's like they tried to cut and paste all these elements from classic, early 90s hiphop... and it ALMOST works... with better production and competent mixing, it could have been a decent instrumental. (super-cheesy vocals, though. Sounds like bad white rappers from 2003)

Was back and forth between a high 6 or low 7 on this one. The song itself was a bit underwhelming, not really my style.

The video, however I genuinely found myself wholly invested in. I agree with @Kwan that I admire the aesthetic and the story was memorable for a music video.

All together - 7/10.
