| The most stupidly frustrating part of all of this is that there is SO MUCH SPURCE MATERIAL TO REFERENCE FROM! CLAMP designs minimum 5 outfits for every character they ever make, and this is doubly true for the 90's works. Its like they didn't even bother picking up a single volume of TB or any CLAMP artbook ever. |

They could've at least removed the chains on Subaru's onmyoji outfit or replaced it with something else. And maybe changed his pose. But they had to really add those chains (well, the chains looked cool). As for Hokuto's pink outfit, that was really a copy but with less accessories. They only changed the color of the shoes. If they gave her shorts, pants or a different skirt or dress color then only a few would've noticed that the outfit design was copied. Even the pose was copied. They could've just modernized some of Hokuto's old outfits or get inspiration from other CLAMP materials.
