Publisher Sol Press announced at its panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta on Saturday that it will release writer Riku Misora's and illustrator Won's Chivalry of a Failed Knight (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) light novel series in English. The company will release the first three volumes simultaneously digitally and in print on November 16, and will release subsequent volumes "in set intervals."

Gave up after the first chapter. Watchet the anime and it was straight up trash. Digiewhy is wrong. It is just as bad as the Asterisk War. At least the op is LIT.
He himself in his videos says that its not a masterpiece but that the difference is like between a 3/10 or 4/10(Rakudai) and a 1/10(Shiterisk).

I love Rakudai (one of my favorite series as of yet), but I'm not gonna support the english official english translation. We finally had regular fan-upates when that darn Sol Press bought the license. Now i'm gonna have to wait for them to release up to this point again while even dropping the suffixes? Nah, not gonna bother, they can keep their shit.

I've bought the japanese releases already to support the author. Gonna read the originals once my japanese is good enough. Might even be faster than waiting for their releases according to what I've read about their slow release cycles....

Seems like I was right on the money. Sol Press going bankrupt feels pretty cathartic. Glad that LN-killer can't grab any further series now.
