| Just when I was glad I could watch this in the blazing summer it starts raining, but it rained in the episode too so it somehow turned out to be a nice match. Lucky. "-If you hang around here you'll start going "ara, ara" too. -Ara, ara." I had to pause the video I laughed so hard. The exposition could have been handled better, but the episode was relaxing, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Really liked it 4/5. |

| I really enjoy how relaxing and carefree this is, it's a nice change of pace for me. I don't think I can watch too much at once though, which may turn out to be good since I can savor it longer. Ara ara :>. |

| The show never seems overly preachy/pretentious, nor is it overly dramatic when it comes to it's interepretation of life. It hits just the right spot. It's a show of an entirely different pace yet it won't try to differentiate itself as a cold aloof enigma, it's warm and encompassing, like the smile of a childhood friend. That already makes the show an exceptional case and worth praising in itself. Like perfectly brewed green tea amongst a company of fanciful blends and soft-drinks. |

| I like how Akari and Aika each kind of mirror their mentors. I wonder if Akari's remark at the end is foreshadowing that we'll get to see differents sides of Alicia, who so far seems to be the perfect mom-boss. I will now proceed to over-analyze the episode and make some questionable predictions that are almost definitely pointless for a slice of life show. The soundtrack and the visuals are still very pretty. The opening is an odd one, it's not a full sequence, but there's an opening song played. |

 Did I mention I love the music? By the way, I love the music. Happy endings to episodes like these aren't really predictable. Or, well, I wouldn't use the word "predictable" to describe them. Rather, they're inevitable, as they're the result of the show's general aesthetic. Any other end wouldn't make sense, as it's the quality of Aria that makes it confident in its portrayal of its world. There isn't any need to surprise, shock, or deviate from its formula. It's content to living up to its own established identity, where, as a viewer, you're guarenteed to be able to watch any episode and get exactly what the show advertises itself: a peaceful, relaxing iyashikei that stands among some of the best iyashikei anime out there. It's interesting how Aria decides to talk about its characters through opposite views. Akari and Aika talk about Alicia and Akira, and vice versa. Rather than them monologuing about themselves, they talk about the other person, showing how much they've paid attention to each other. It's also nice that any sense of animosity and drama was dispersed almost immediately, where everything returns to the status quo of being friendly and nice. Again, it's a good balance of having just enough tension to provide a variety of tone and to keep the episode going without feeling overtly sweet or monotonous. It's also great how Aika calls out Akari for being overly sentimental, or Akira calling out Alicia for her mannerisms, showing that the anime is aware of how cheesy it can end up being at times. Goodness gracious I love Aria. |

| Aika is the character I was looking for. Not that she's amazing, but rather the spice necessary. The conflicts are silly at best, but at least there're some. 4/5 |
