| Hey everyone I stumbled upon Motto To Love Ru and really enjoyed it. I understand there are other seasons of this, TLR: Darkness being one. I'd like some advice on watching order. I know there are other seasons, what order do I watch them in? From what I can gather, Motto TLR is the second season, Darkness is the third..is that right? |

Multiplication is the only one that's really negligible so it'd be exempt from the strong recommendation of "not skipping" if you so desire, albeit it's just a one episode ecchi gag bit and I still thought it was very nice so I'd rec it anyway :P Also, things like starting the first episode of the Darkness OVA and then finishing up the rest after you've watched the first season falls within legit airing order so this isn't some weird, bastardized watch order. The conclusion episodes aired after Darkness Second OVA started, but it's a direct continuation of the second season's main arc and a conclusion to it with pretty much no stop between the end of the last episode of Darkness 2 and the beginning of the Darkness 2 Specials, so I recommend going out of airing order for it and it alone. It really is a scenario of being a part of the Second Season rather than a detached OVA, more or less. Hope you love it, man! Darkness kind of has a different enough approach to where I treat it as blurring the line between sequel series and spinoff, so I tend to make a distinction between Darkness and original, but saying First Season Darkness or Third Season doesn't really matter much, pretty sure people will know what you mean either way. |
