| Hmm... that's a hard one. But I'd have to go with Akizuki... only because I admire how honorable he was. But I also admire Kusaka's determination to keep their love alive... regardless of that, I also thought his determination was a little too obsessive as well... he was almost... TOO in love with Akizuki. And he wouldn't let Akizuki have what he wanted the most (death)... which to me, isn't Kusaka's choice to make... thus, should have let Akizuki handle his own life and beliefs. And that is why Akizuki is my favorite (plus he's a great uke!). ^_~ |

| definitely akizuki. first of all i'm more into dark-haired guys... and of course for his character. at the 3rd episode i had problems with kusakas character. i can understand, that he wanted his lover to live. but what he did was forcing a man to live who wanted to die in honor, also taking a life dishonorable for his sake, then holding him in a "cage" just like a pet. ok, that's desperate love but also another reason for me, to choose akizuki! |
| Kusaka was not forcing anything, it would have been easy for Akizuki to pull himself outside and die in the cold or get himself found by the government. Because he didn't,means he really did want to stay by Kusaka's side. Both are great characters!!!! For being a short OVA about a forbidden love (of the BL variety) it is perfect! That being said, if I had to choose it would be Kasaka in the first episode (being so head strong is a great quality) then Akizuki in the 3rd (the letter he wrote brought me to tears). They both rock in the 2nd and can not choose :P |
