| They're actual games, not just visual novels. They're just use the visual novel style when it comes to the dialogue scenes, like a lot of JRPGs do. The anime was fine, lots of references to the games and fanservice for the fans. You won't get them unless you've played the games. Ignore the 2nd poster, clearly no idea what they're saying. |

They're turn based RPGs, Rebirth 1-3 were remakes of the first 3 ps3 games with some extra stuff added. If you just want story, watch the anime. If you want a pretty fun game, choose those instead. |
