| Somewhat weak start imo. Main character seems pretty standart "unskilled player that will overcome the difficulties with hard work" kind of character ... Hopefully it will get better |

| Well, all they did so far was run, run and run some more '-' At least we know they are ready for extra times... they have the stamina for it at least. |

| And they keep running and running and running.. they just won a football match by running ... Sure stamina is important... but where are all the other elements? '-' We had a match and we didn't know who was playing where (positions), when they were attacking or when they were defending... nothing.. just running and a random goal. This might be the worst sports anime I've seen so far... I reeeeeeeally hope it gets better. |

| I'm still 1 episode behind but... episode 4 started with him... running ...why I'm not surprised? Well, the rest of the episode was the girl getting annoyed because all he did was running... >_> Then after confronting him she realized her own problems and how she was frustrated for giving up on something (writing maybe)... in the end she developed and even joined the team... Meanwhile he run... '-' Also won a 'football practice' against a totally random classmate because he ran a lot, bringing us to the conclusion that he learned how to play football by running and was able to beat the random classmate =D You want to play football better? run ... run a lot.. that's the 'hidden' message of the anime ^^ xD |

| Harucchi, running is one thing but I think the series is trying to say something more like, "be passionate and never give up". It sucks when it comes to the actual football match, but the setting is fine~ Just hope they show one full match~ Remember, his running never 'won' him anything. He just upped the teams morale which helped them win. |

| Just watched episode 5 @Mika I know they meant to show how passionate he's about it and to never give up... but it's just too much... (not passion) too much of it... it's like 90% run, 5% other things, 5% football '-' I also think the other characters are pretty poorly presented... I mean.. from the team I know the main character , the blonde dude, the other classmate and the captain ... Maybe is just me expecting too much of the anime... dunno... |
