AUGUST SUBMISSIONS WINNER GETS .5 ADDED TO THEIR AUGUST CHALLENGE Open Until July.31.2016 Voting begins July.15th Until July.31st SUBMISSIONS #1 Theme: Summer of Love Colors: - Requirements: -Watch a Shounen Ai anime (or Yaoi substitute if desired) *If all entries have been seen previously, a series with BL undertones can be used or a series that is tagged as Shounen Ai on another site* -Watch a Shoujo Ai anime (or Yuri substitute if desired) *If all entries have been seen previously, a series with GL undertones can be used or a series that is tagged as Shoujo Ai on another site* -Watch a Romance anime that aired during a Summer -Watch an anime with a Rejection (See link for ideas) #2 Theme: Dance Festivals (August is the month where many festivals take place in Japan, many of which include dance performances!) Colors: Sakura Pink Requirements: ֎ Watch a series where dancing takes place ֍ Watch a series where there is a festival episode(1 or more episode(s) are about attending a festival) ֎ Watch a series where a character wears a yukata ֍ Watch a series with an athletic main character(s) (Dancers are often fit!) ֎ Watch a series(or movie/OVA) where music or dancing is the main theme #3 Theme: A Blast from the Past Colors: Black & White Requirements: Any type besides special/music is allowed. ⏪ Watch an anime with the Dark and Troubled Past OR Mysterious Past TvTrope. ⏪ Watch an anime tagged as historical. ⏪ Watch an anime that began airing in 2006 or before. ⏪ Watch an anime where a character (or characters) travel back in time. #4 Theme: Summer Olympics Colors: Gold and Silver Requirements: All types except music allowed. Must be longer than 15 minutes total. • Watch a Sports anime. • Watch an anime that aired in a year the Summer Olympics occurred. e.g. 2008, 2012, 2016. See here for more options. • Watch an anime that takes place outside of Japan OR an anime that has a non-Japanese character. Note: Location cannot be a fictional country, but it can be a fictional city in a real country. See here for ideas. • Watch an anime with the word "Gold", "Silver", or "Bronze". Note: The Japanese equivalents "Ougon" for gold and "Gin" for silver do count. #5 Theme: War Colors: - Requirements: *Each anime can only be used for one requirement *Can be any type but atleast one must be over 15mins *You cannot use airing you must complete the anime ⚔ Watch an anime with the word mountain in the title: ⚔ Watch an anime with a Military tag: ⚔ Watch an anime with the War is Glorious Trope: ⚔ Watch an anime with the War is Hell Trope: #6 Theme: Literally Googled August Colors: Limegreen / Peridot Requirements: All types are allowed but must be 15+ minutes long (total) • Watch an anime with the word sun (or related word) in the title Can't be part of another word, but can be English or Japanese as long as it's in the title or alternative title • Watch a School anime (Back to school time!) • Watch an anime that has a Desert in it • Watch an anime with a main character with yellow/blonde hair • Watch an anime released (aired) in August ~*~ All submissions MUST be PMed to Riho88riho (any posted submissions will be deleted and ignored) ~*~ All submissions will be accepted, but keep in mind that once the voting has started, any new submissions after will be at a disadvantage.
