| Damn I was hoping it would be 24 episodes like season 1. Part of me is hoping it will be like Twin Star Exorcists, where that was initially listed on MAL as 12 episodes but it turns out it's going to be like 50. But I highly doubt we'll be that lucky. Well, it's better than nothing I guess. |

| I fine with this. After season 1, I decided to read the manga, and quite frankly I was disappointed with the route it went. But who knows, maybe the anime will make me see it in a different light. Either way, I'm fine with 13. @JC Staff.....PLEASE give us Prison School 2!!!! |

Well its bit different with these 2 cuz twin star was never confirmed to be 12ep so dunno it was listed like that maybe they just randomly do that but even so now we still dont have any official news that its really 50ep long only few streamin sites listed it as 50ep long and thats it well atleast its gonna be around 24ep long. And there is no chance food wars 2nd season will be more then 13ep cuz their official page listed the anime with just 13 already so its a done deal lets just hope they announce a 3rd season soon cuz else there arent many hopes for some more of it, cuz it makes no sense to wait idk 2years for a sequel when there is more then enough material.... |

| Just because it's 13 episodes doesn't mean they're never going to make any more after this ever, guys. Calm down lol. It could be split cours. They could always change the title from Ni no Sara to San no Sara for the next cours. Souma's way too popular for them to just stop adapting it lol. I have no idea when we'll see the cours after this one, but it could very likely be next year. |

The reason why iam personnaly worried is cuz such things happend already in the past with popular titles like kimi no todoke, nisekoi both had 1st season 2cour and 2nd season was 1cour and there no single sign of them making a 3rd season even though they are selling pretty good and got more then enough material. But yeah i know its too soon to talk but still being popular doesnt always mean that there will be more anime as you can see....anyway ill try to keep positve and hope that the same doesnt happen with this anime cuz i really dont wanna see it end =/ |

Natsume Yuujinchou is getting a 5th season after 5 years of nothing, so it's not impossible. Maybe they're waiting for Nisekoi to end before adapting it. Or Shaft's just busy with the Monogatari franchise stuff (Kizumonogatari movies) and are prioritising that. So y'know, people need to like... not freak out lol. Nine times out of ten a series like Souma's gonna get more than just two seasons, especially if the manga's ongoing. Shounen Jump's series usually (usually!) get decent adaptations. |

Second seasons don't normally get 2 cours nowadays due to budget problems. I'm not sure how well Soma did for its first season but the merchandise & DVDs probably did "fine" but not exactly as expected. I'm glad we are getting more episodes :D. Well most made anime from shounen jump sold kinda bad with bd-dvd i think soma was selling around 1k~2k same goes to current assassination classroom for example. But this anime focus more on the manga boost which was quite big so thats why they are kinda always getting sequels. The only positve way to look as to why there will be only 13ep is that we will get sequels every year and with this the anime wont catch up too quick to the manga then. But also as i said above in my comments there are sadly other popular titles that were selling good with the manga boost and didnt get a sequel after 1st season bein 2cour and 2nd season just 1cour. So all we can do and hope that they announce quite quickly a next season unless they just wanna complete this tournament and thats its for the anime then. Would be really good if we sometimes get some more info as to why they make a sequel with 13~ep instead of 24~ep etc. |

| The anime series itself didn't have very good sales , so that could be the reason, why the second season only has 13 episodes . Though the manga sold very good |
