| I doubt it you have to consider the biggest group of people the studio would be targeting would be Otakus and teens and they (im assuming) are constantly changing their taste/best waifu and lets say its a 300ep. long anime how many diffrent ways can you show the same cast of girls flap their tits around |

| This sounds like some form of torture, I mean imagine the wait for the blu rays so those pesky light beams get off of the screen. But realistically speaking, would a studio even be able to lock down a late night time slot to air a series of that length and nature. I'd imagine it would stir a lot of controversy and get cancelled fairly early on. Unless it releases completely online or through ovas which would just be a huge cash sink. |

Still, there is no reason why a show like Shinmai Maou no Testament can't continue for very long. Unless they run out of enemies, having taken over heaven and hell, and kicked lovecraftian horrors's behinds (assuming they have a behind to kick). But my other example of borderline hentai, Okusama wa Seitokaichou, would really be some kind of torture. P.S. Lovecraftian horror arc should have tentacles in it. |

| Just to let you know, but the majority of long-running shows are either made for kids (shounen, shoujo, or kodomomuke) or can easily be marketed towards family audiences (Sazae-san, Shin-chan, ect). There are some exceptions like Space Brothers, but generally if it's seinen or josei younger audiences should be able to watch it for it to get more than 26 episodes. Shin-chan, which I mentioned earlier, is an ecchi long runner, but the characters couldn't be any less sexually attractive. It's ecchi in the same way Panty and Stocking is. There's a lot of sexual humour, but I doubt anyone would want to fap to the characters. There is a 100+ episode harem anime called Hayate the Combat Butler, but I'm not sure how ecchi it is. |

Okusama wa Seitokaichou and Shinmai Maou no Testament are the two examples of the genre that I remember. They have pretty good production values, better than the majority of hentai anime, I would say. |
