| I agree with this. Even though we have ads, can't they at least be relevant ones and not some random guy talking about how he loves surfing. As for the hentai/ecchi clickbait, some people are actually okay with that. Personally, I don't want the ads at all. If you don't want to see ads at all, you can either install an ad blocker for your browser or use an incognito tab (Ctrl+Shift+N on Chrome) |

But the thing is, MyAnimeList also has pretty many hentai/ecchi/horror anime and manga in its DB that aren’t for kids, as well. What I am trying to say is that this website isn’t for kids; I hope that there are parents that control the activity of their kids on this website. I guess that an option that will hide all erotic content for kids would be really nice to have; however, I don't know if it is possible to implement it. I am sorry for that and I am not trying to say that there should be absolutely no kids on this website, no, but their activity here should be kept under the control of their parents, since, as I have already mentioned, there are "these types of" anime and manga that kids shouldn’t see. *Insert your hentai anime/manga here.* EDIT: Another example that should support my point of view is Sword Art Online, which is in your favorite anime list, by the way. This anime is a good example that all parents should control what they kids do on this website. Sword Art Online isn’t for kids, and I am sure that I shouldn’t explain that to you. MAL’s previous owner didn’t give a fuck about anything; however, DeNa can implement your suggestion. |

| There's really a bunch of shitty ads on this site. I'm okay with advertising, I know maintaining a site costs money and for that reason I generally don't use an adblock, but the audio and porn ads here are like... pfff. Webmasters should learn to keep those ads in check, because some sites are really pushing people toward Ad-block |
