| As the name implies it's the affinity ( ._.) I don't see what so confusing about it. It compares your ratings and measure how similar your tastes are by some algorithm. |

| Orange bar means positive affinity and green means negative one. Whenever it's in green I am pretty sure there is a -ve sign which is self explanatory. |

I was trying to find out how it works, but I still don't really understand. First, it counts the shared anime on the lists, but if those are all unrated, it can't count affinity. But if there are enough rated, some unrated will raise the affinity. Seemingly ratings weights much more. The affinity somehow correlates with the average absolute deviation and the matching ratings, but it's unclear for me how exactly and how and when goes the affinity negative. Could anyone explain to me? |
