You will need a Japanese account to play the game.
Someone already made a tutorial on how to do that here:

Aqua Ritmo, as the name suggest, is a rhythm game, not that different from other rhtyhm games already in the market, such as School Idol Project Festival and Starlight Stage: you obtain cards through gameplay and gacha, level them up, etc.

some translation and notes:
[spoiler]
this is the home menu (after clicking "news")

and the quick menu, the one that shows up when you press menu)

The gacha is self-explanatory. You spend aqua stones or tickets to try your luck.
The rates of SR/UR is probably very similar to that of other games (meaning, UR is next-to impossible to get). 5 aqua-stones per try, or 50 aquastones for a 10-draw, with a guaranteed SR (if it says in the description)

The shop uses friend points, or FP, which you can get from playing songs. Here's a
list of items in shop (there's an additional one for Aria, but i bought it before taking the screenshot)

Note that you need the bronze/silver/gold medals to level up the skill of the card, and you need a specific medal for the character (there are 3 different bronze, 3 different silver, and 3 different gold medals. each only applicable to the character in the description.

This is the all-menu

Card option is for raising the level or skill, or sell a card of your choice.

Character option is for looking at the setting for a particular card, or change clothes for that character. here's how it looks like when you click one of them

seems pretty fun so far, albeit a bit buggy (to be fair, it was released fairly recently)

You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.
