【Anime Guild】2016 Card/Banner Competition Inspiration Song for the Week Greetings all ~ The time has come for a new competition! This time, we are holding an art competition to search for passionate art officers. Everyone, including those with zero experience in graphic designing, is invited and encouraged to take part. :) In the end, while talent is important, passion for making art is the key trait we are looking out for. Competition Details There are two different categories you can participate in: Freestyle and Surprise Me. Members may participate in both. The competition will run until 14 March 2015, 1200H GMT for both categories. Freestyle: 1. Participants are to make a card or banner based around the theme of 'Anime Guild' 2. Entries have to be PMed to Forgotten_Memo by the 14 Mar deadline. 3. Entries will be judged by the club officers and your fellow members once the deadline has passed. *If you are interested in taking part, please let us know in the thread even if you haven't started on the card/drawing so that I can chase you if you happen to forget to submit your entry :) Surprise Me: 1. Those interested are to reply on this thread, expressing their interest (e.g. "I would like to take part in the surprise me category") 2. Three stock images will be PMed to you shortly (please allow up to 48 hours) 3. Pick one of the stock image and make a card or banner using that image. 4. The card is to be submitted via PM before the 14 Mar deadline and will be assessed by a select panel of judges before being revealed in the Awards Ceremony thread. General Rules: 1. Members are allowed to submit multiple entries. 2. Entries must be smaller than 798px (horizontal) and 1000px (vertical) 3. Entries must be your original work. 4. Keep cards PG13 please. 5. PM me your entry. 6. Entries are to remain anonymous until the Awards Ceremony. Do NOT share your entry with anyone else, post your entry in this thread, your profile or this site until the end of the competition please. Breaking this rule, may result in disqualification of the entry. Prizes - All participants will be given a participation badge for their respective category. - The creators of the top entries for each category will receive personalised badges. - The names of the top creators will go down in the Anime Guild Hall of History - Creator of the top entry will get a chance to host a solo card edition if he/she is interested. - Recognition in the club + Bragging Rights Card Examples: I look forward to your participation. | Hehe sounds fun. I have absolutely no talent in graphic design but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. Freestyle sounds fun but what seems like more fun is the "Surprise me" category. I'm making this post to express my desire to participate in the "Surprise me" category. |

Do you want us to post in the thread whether or not we are doing the surprise category but that one ONLY. All other request should be sent to you? |

| @Sakamoto- Rule 6 only applies to the actual card/banner entry; you are welcomed to express your desire to take part in either/both categories in this thread, as long as the actual card/banner is not posted. Hope that clarifies the ambiguity. :) |
