Title.
I never understood why this wasn't a thing, why required the mod to double check our request or even chance having it denied because the mod might get it wrong (if you're submitting a change it's likely because a mod already made a mistake in the past...)

I usually just keep requesting after one mod denied my request, and eventually some other mod accepts it
Someone should make a script for that.

This is why I write on the forum even about those changes that can be submitted. I always seem to need some kind of an explanation without which my request will probably be denied due to the mod not knowing something.

Supporting.

Same here.
I don't get why the new fields (broadcast, source, etc) doesn't have a comment box while older less-relevant stuff (character bio, etc) had.
I mean, a wrong source is way more problematic than some mistakes on a character's age, blood type, and stuff.

Support, as for example it would be useful for giving sources for information etc. which would save the mod time as well as enabling the change to be approved more easily and faster.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.

It's not like I tried to change the duration of an entry multiples times over the last month just to see it changed to some other duration that was obviously wrong had anyone checked anywhere else other than AniDB.
B-b-b-bakas.

B-b-b-bakas.

There's a chance not a single one of them has been looked into yet

I wouldn't doubt it if the duration hadn't been changed to something wrong after I submitted the correct time.

This could be unrelated
I have requested a change on AniDB by the way, thanks

Supporting this as well. I don't get why it's not already the case for any request of changing something (as some changes actually have had such a comment field since a long time)

I will support this, especially if it can be used as a review field.
