People who are actually familiar with anime understand that it is a diverse medium intended for different people: there's anime for children about little girls, there's anime for adults about insanity, there's anime for teenagers about superpowers, and there's anime for horny adults about tentacle rape. Everything has its place and doesn't harm the intended viewer. But for an outsider, all anime is a homogenous mass of superpowered little girls mind-raped by tentacles in a show intended for adults who think they are children. Or something like that. And it's pretty scary, and you don't want your children to watch it. |

| Does it? from where I am its pretty normal watching anime, DBZ/OP/YuYuHakusho/Slam Dunk/Bleach/Naruto are all watched by everyone in my HS days. Its just in america theres a lot of people that nitpicks on the smallest thing like a white guy calling a black guy nigga and the black guy instantly gets pissed and takes out his gun (not saying all of em but most of them) just glad from where I am anime isnt looked down on, unlike with some countries lol. |
