| Hi, I'm HikaruIzumi. I'm a full time student at a university studying languages. My first anime was most likely Inuyasha. I say most likely because I started watching anime on German channel (foreign language to me) when I was about 10 and they had a whole anime block that lasted 4-6 hours (6 at the beginning and then slowly started shrinking until it completely disappeared). Languages I either speak or study (ordered by level of skill): Slovak, Czech, English, French, German, Greek and Japanese (just Katakana, Hiragana and basic words/grammar). My favourite genres are extremely different from one another and you wouldn't be able to guess anything about me just from them: Mahou Shoujo, Psychological, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Action, Yuri, Pet Monsters (like Pokemon, Digimon and Monster Rancher), Mystery, Postapocalyptic and others. I don't mind yaoi but since I'm not into guys I wouldn't watch an anime just for it although as long as the synopsis seems interesting enough, I would watch it. The only genre I really dislike is SoL anime. I have enough of that every day, thank you. :D Whenever I do tests for personality type, I get INTJ but I don't think it's correct because, while it might seem like it suits me, I have bunch of "issues" (social anxiety, low self-confidence and past heavy depression) that I've been struggling with and they greatly affect my results. But I'm working on it and I already got really far compared to where I was before. One day I will hopefully uncover the true me and will be able to fully enjoy life without the extra baggage. Personality wise, I'm a talkative person that can discuss anything from fashion to politics other than sports (not counting martial arts as sports) and cars. My favourite colour is blue but I love wearing red since it compliments my hair colour a lot. I'm a very loyal friend who prefers to discuss every conflict and considers conversation to be the most important in every relationship. よろしくお願いします。 *Bows* Sorry for the long rant. I'm horrible at introductions because I never know what to say (I don't think I'm that interesting and I'm kind of weird, too XD), so it'll be a rather short one... I play the piano (badly) and have a kind of out of place (compared to the rest of my interests) passion for Latin (don't laugh at me, please). I live in England and have a data entry job in one of those London skyscrapers. Apart from anime, I enjoy playing video games in my spare time, which has been my lifelong hobby since the age of four. I also enjoy reading comics/graphic novels, bird watching and listening to music (alternative rock mostly). My favorite anime don't follow too much of a pattern, but I do like mecha anime quite a bit. Gundam 00 and Gundam Seed are some of my favorites, along with Code Geass and Star Driver (if we're counting that). I just graduated high school and am going to start community college in the fall. I'm going to study to become a veterinarian. n_n I LOVE the piano but unfortunately I don't know how to play it that well yet. I wish I can get lessons but they're too expensive TT w TT When I master the piano (hopefully) I want to learn how to play the violin (I can see it as an impossibility).
