Alright, decided to give making a topic a go. So basically the title says everything. Perhaps it's an event, a person, a moment, a dream, anything. What has impacted your life the most?

If I had to give something that impacted my life the most, it would have to be a specific person I met when I was in 8th grade. Let's say this, she dragged my ass out of a hole that I dug pretty deep.

Dota 2.

I was shut-in for a whole week playing that game; opening the door was only to bring food, piss and shit.

My addiction started January 2012, and ended June 2014. I haven't played it since then.

One early memory I have, is when my father took me with him to see when the team was going to butcher a moose. Two men sawn off the head of the animal. Then, after they had skinned it, they took a hook and let it hang there. Still there was blood on the concrete floor.

That was my first gore experience

The largest impacts in my life:

Getting dumped by my fiancee(caused me to continuously better myself)

Psychedelics(expanded my perspectives more than anything else in life)

Hitchhiking around the US(expanded my perspectives on life and people)

Marijuana usage(held me back for years)

Grimes becoming famous(I watched her go from little-known to massive name, inspired me a lot because her personality and way of producing art is similar to my own)

Minecraft becoming huge(same as Grimes, I was around the 700th person to buy the game, I saw it go from concept to changing the gaming industry, lots of inspiration)

Anthropology courses at uni(significantly widened my perspective on being human)

Working at a hostel(expanded my perspectives on life and people)

[*]Someone I was in a relationship three years ago.
[*]Watching 'Meet Your Meat'.
[*]Watching 'Blackfish'.
[*]YouTubers, honestly.
[*]Music as a whole.
[*]Some musicians, such as; Christofer Drew (back when I used to actually like him), Corey Taylor, Marilyn Manson, Kurt Cobain, Davey Havock, Morrissey, and so forth.
[*]The book 'The Catcher in The Rye'.
[*]The internet (I don't even mean this as a joke! I'm dead serious. Sites like Tumblr, MySpace, what have you have impacted me, in a lot of good ways).
[*]Being raised by a single parent, among other personal things, I wish not to dabble into.

Did you grow up in a hunting family? I've been gutting deer sense I was pretty young. Still remember my first experience as well.

Yeah, but I don't hunt though, the only male who doesn't. They're quite obsessed with it.

I haven't been a part of any butchering for a while. The smell is very special.

When people attempted to break into my apartment and were yelling that they were going to harm me. You see I was new to the neighborhood and some people didn't like that so they got together and decided to siege my apartment. I was without a phone at that time to call for help and spent the night barricading. I thought that was it, thats how it was going to end me alone somewhere far from anyone, a totally meaningless end.

It was like this till sunrise when I felt it was safe to leave. I walked for an hour just breathing air till I found myself at a dinner.

I moved out the same day.

How did it impact my life well I realized that death and danger can come for you at anytime and at any place and you can try to live life the safe way and it still won't matter in the end and that in life nothing matters but actions.

It's expected that you hunt and fish in my family despite gender. So I'll probably be doing some butchering this year. But I like to hunt/fish so it doesn't bother me. And yeah it's got a pretty potent smell.
