| 1- it's about Toriko travelling with his chef partner Komatsu and his other friends hunting for the best ingredients in harsh environments all to complete his full course which includes GOD. 2- the anime is made by the same studio who did dbz and one piece so they look more similar than they should, but Toriko is inspired by dbz and some other ones, the orange clothes is a nod to goku. 3- GOD is the greatest ingredient in Toriko that comes around once every several hundred years, it's the the goal of toriko to get it and it can even bring world peace because it's so delicious. Not much is know at the moment since they can't just skip to the finish line. But remember that the more delicious the food is the more powerful the characters get, and GOD is so delicious the one who eats it gets amazing power. The Toriko anime is mostly adventure/action in the human world so there isn't much story when it comes to GOD. The 2nd season should cover that (when/if it airs) or read the manga when you're done with the anime. |
