The first part of the Angel Beats! visual novel is coming out on may 23rd. It will probably take 5 years for it to be completed. In 2020, it would be ok to start hoping for an anime remake.
A second season will never happen.

It was very successful. It sold 35k BDs, while the average series sells 3k-5k.

I would love to see a season 2. If not a sequel, then a prequel to the actions leading up to the events in the start of the series.

Also, it would be awesome if they could tell more about T.K.. How he died and what's going on in his mind from time to time.

The show has no need for a sequel. More OVAs to add onto other character's stories? Sure, that'd be awesome! But the story ended. If there was any kind of sequel it would likely focus on completely new characters, and probably not be nearly as good.

^ agreed. Otonashi was left alone there, but in some reincarnation or something, he met with Kanade. What more can they add to the plot? A decent explanation for the infamous plothole from the writer of Angel Beats is all I need!!! :(

I think if anything, an adaptation of Heaven's Door is possible. A prequel would be great to see.
