| I just finished Texhnolyze and I really enjoyed it, but am a bit confused about a few things. I looked around, but because this anime was not particularly popular I could not find what I was looking for. So here are my questions: *Why did Yoshii come to Lux? Was he a complete psychopath because he wanted to give the people a reason to live, unlike those who lived above? *What caused Ichise's limbs to work in the final episode? *Why was Ran Texholyzed? *Why did Ran predict that Ichse will destroy everything, when he really didn't? *How did the radio work? Was it a representation of the collective mind of the city? *What did Ichse's eyes represent? *What did the fox mask represent? |

| Thanks. That did help clear some things up. Yes, he called out to doc as he was being beaten and his limbs started working, which I did find confusing. I can understand why Ran wanted to kill herself, as it was stated several times that she simply couldn't handle what she was seeing - "I don't want to see anything anymore". But I still don't fully understand why she became one of the shapes in her mentally dead, lifeless body. Anyway, what you said helped clear some things up. The radio in the upper world did confuse me, but I think it represents the collective thoughts of the ghosts there. Note when Doc kills herself and starts talking on the radio. I don't really understand the rest of the stuff on the radio though, as it just seemed to repeat meaningless babble. A lot of the characters continually talked about Ichse's eyes, so I figured there was some importance there, although it completely went over my head. Thank you for explaining me the symbolism of the fox. The whole idea of the mask makes a lot more sense to me now. |
