Yeah, I never saw the new movie because it doesn't look that interesting, and the new movie is also reportedly the weakest part of the franchise. The 1966 movie however, was awesome, and I'll be watching the 1967 sequel soon.

I like the look of the CGI in the new movie although I have heard the story isn't that good. I have to watch it to find out. I haven't seen the one from the 60's yet.

As I prefer newer gen art style where characters have realy small noses (Or don't have them at all in some cases) I am bodered when I see ugly 3D (IRL) like noses.

What noses? You can't even see them, since most of them are basically dots, so I only notice that they barely have noses (except for close up scenes or Vision of Escaflowne).
