Guys question about Macross Frontier

Macross Frontier is a TV series w/ 25 episode right? and i saw there's the movie Macross Frontier: Itsuwari no Utahime and the 2nd movie, does the 2 movies is the same as the tv series? does it have a different ending or something?

I'm not sure about the Itsuwari no Utahime, but I'm pretty sure the second movie you're talking about is Sayonara no Tsubasa, and it's set in a slightly different universe than the 25 episode anime.

Basically, if you're a Sheryl fan, Sayonara no Tsubasa is canon. If you're a Ranka fan, Sayonara no Tsubasa is set in an alternative universe. If you're meh with both and just like Macross Frontier in general, consider it a treat.
