| Is it just me or is he extremely lovable to you guys too? I find him to be such an amazing protagonist. (best of the season to me) My favorite thing he does is that gag, "does this face look like its lying?" or something like that. Pretty refreshing guy. |

| Love. Him. There wasn't enough characterization to label him as a godlike character, but god damn it is soooo refreshing to see a goofy douche main character. So obviously best of the season. And anyone who thinks that he is annoying, I feel anger inside me for some reason. Edit, so I wouldn't stand out of the crowd, how could I have forgotten: FAVAROOOOO!! |

| FAVAROOOOOO!!! I love how that line has become a thing. You know you're a part of the Bahamut fandom when you occasionally stop wandering around your house just to bellow out "FAVAROOOO!!!" Lololololol. No but seriously, he's great. A very refreshing character in terms of both looks and personality. It's nice for once to have an MC that isn't a drop-dead gorgeous bishounen with hardcore good guy hero traits. |

| I still hate him and I think he is butt ugly. That aside, as a character he is well developped and very well designed. So, as a anime critic I like him a lot, but from an in story perspective,.. not so much. |

| It's interesting for sure. I think he is the first main character that I have seen, in a while, that isn't prefixed by some fate or some bullshit. Sure, the father role still appears, but they seem genuinely human at least. There isn't much about him that makes him deep. He screams just like a commoner who's delt with al ot of shit would do, he has somewhat funny reactions that aren't reliant on common cliches, a funny character design, and really, so far, no powerup bullshit despite his circumstances. I think he stands out as a unique character at least. Also, very pragmatic. Seems genuinely doing what's best for him while not being too tangled up with some beautiful girl. "her hair, her eyes... I just can't do this to her." And the fact he actually tried to betray her is so fucking funny! |
