BUG

http://myanimelist.net/forum/?action=search&q=&u=brianez&uloc=1&loc=-1

The (Find All) feature for forum posts is not working for my account. It is not showing any of my recent posts. If I click on that link from my profile, the most recent post that appears is from 7-17-14, and I have posted at least ~10-20 times since then. The posts since then were made in the episode discussions and general anime discussion boards.

This happens when I go to my profile and click the "Find All" link next to "Forum Posts"

It's actually been weeks, and nothing I've posted since July is appearing

It's just as broke as the still bold marked "already read" topics among other things.
You can get used to it.

Or toggle watching of important threads you're not already watching per default as a thread creator, go to your watched topics and recalculate if it needs to.

But it does appear, see the screenshot I posted above; e.g. it finds the topic where you replied just two days ago: DRAMAtical Murder Episode 2 Discussion, and numerous other recent and not-so-recent threads are found
Only the last 50 threads are displayed, BTW (IIRC with the most recent replies)

Sometimes they appear. Sometimes not.
I think a newer younger hamster is needed.

That's what I always do, or use Google to find my posts. But since the watched topics are limited to only 300, I had to make 2 duplicate accounts, since the number of topics I need to watch is over 600 already. I asked to increase the limit, but never got a reply from a mod in that thread since then

Didn't notice that because it was under a post from July, and the chronology (an ep2 comment underneath an ep3 comment).

So looks like that one is showing, but it's still missing many other posts from more than 2 days ago

Anyways from what you guys are saying it may be a common issue without any real solution. I really wish it could be resolved, but I'll try watching threads for now. Thanks for the tips!

It seems they are sorted by ID no matter how I look at it (threads made later are displayed higher; threads made earlier are displayed lower). But only 50 threads with the most recent replies are displayed, but not more recent than a day or two ago

Like what for example?

Actually, it wasn't always that way. The search worked flawlessly in the past; everyone could find all posts and threads no matter how many of them were there or how recent they were. But one day things changed: the search was broken, and for some time it didn't work at all. Then it was "fixed", with the restrictions I specified above.

Hmm, it actually seems I was wrong. Now I think that only the threads that were created the latest are displayed. If you look at the threads you can't find, brianez, you'll see that they all were created a very long time ago, before any of the threads you can find

I think you're right. That actually seems to be the problem, only threads created the most recently are showing. I get it now. Thanks so much for your help!
