Anime with great plot twists

Hello,
I recently finished death note and the first half was amazing. I really enjoyed this style of not know his plans or what he might be trying to do.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for good shows that have cool plots that are unpredictable, plot twists, etc.

I am relatively new to anime so there is a good amount I haven't seen. Thanks,!

Madoka Magica (12 episodes. Psychological thriller disguised as a Magical girl anime. watch at least 3 episodes).

Kaiji: Ultimate survivor (26 episodes. Psychological thriller about gambling. Focuses on strategies; art takes a bit to get used to).

Higurashi (50 episodes. Horror-thriller with great atmosphere. Art and animation are shit).
