| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Avarage series which was basicly doing everything the anime did, so there's nothing new to find here, besides one O-bon festival chapter which was done in the light novel version of this series. Most of the fanservice is pretty much forced here, not counting the beach episodes. I loved the art, though. It was clean and stylish, Kio Shimoku did a great job finding someone experienced to draw this. The story was a lot more "right to the point" here as well, compared to the Anime series, which makes the story much easier to understand. And the exclusive Genshiken chapters at the end was a huge surprise and a great return to the series as it used to be! Still prefer the character designs in the first series, though. That's what I'm used to. |
