Genshiken
| While seasons 1 and 2 may have lower production value, the story and character interactions was much stronger than the third season. S1/2 had great chemistry between the group members, while Nidaime focused almost exclusively on Hato; the other new characters were not utilized at all. The animation quality may not compare to Nidaime, but it was fine. I don't think the previous studios trashed Genshiken at all. I didn't feel better animation alone was enough to make Nidaime superior to its predecessors. |

| Genshiken is one of my favorite manga and i just started the anime today, i knew it was production i.g that animated Nidaime but when i saw Arms was did the rest i thought it was a mistake and after searching found this thread, the animation wasn't great and i had issues with Madarame's VA but just seeing the characters in anime form alone really made my day, so after i watch all 3 seasons i can maybe give a more definite verdict on this subject. |
