For me the best anime I've ever seen is Legend of the Galactic Heroes, epic plot, fantastic characters, many deep quotes and space opera!

My best anime experience was probably Mawaru Penguindrum, because first it made me laugh, then it made me think, and then it broke my heart.

The Tatami Galaxy was also a great experience because the plot was so complex and intriguing and it was so satisfying to watch it unfold.

Kino no Tabi (Kino's Journey)

In each episode this made me think about so many aspects of life and human nature. It's an anime that didn't made me cry (maybe a little) but that marked me with unforgettable scenes, a strong soundtrack and excellent dialogues.
