Does this show get any better?

I tried watching this, largely because of the awesome composer they got for the soundtrack and because it's fairly talked-about. I gave it the 3-episode rule, and I gotta say I'm not digging it. So far, it's painfully generic.I can't tell if it's trying to be a dumbed-down Devilman or a current-day Yu Yu Hakusho, but either way it bored me to tears. Does it become more unique/well-developed as time goes on, or is it basically more of the same?

I'm currently on episode 11 and so far I'd say it's average.
I hear from fans that the manga is way better so maybe you check the manga out.

Depends on what you expect out of it. It's a generic shounen with underdeveloped characters and rushed conclusion. What I got when it ended was pretty much what I expected from watching the first few episodes, so I'd say no, the show stays about the same.

Totally agree. After it caught up with the manga the story got, put simply, utter crap.
God, I cringed all through the anime original story. It was so bad.

Episode 15 and I can't see anything good about this show. It's enjoyable at the very least with the voice actor lineup and fluid art/animation.
