I use online streaming sites when I watch my anime. How do I configure the updater to work with streaming sites?

Most of the streaming recognition stuff doesn't work anymore.

Not sure if you can do this with MPC (or the player included with K-lite codec pack) but you can with VLC (which is what I use)

Get the URL of the video you are streaming and open it in the video player. It should work. ...At least it works with youtube videos. XD

Ok. Does doing that also update my episode count on the MAL? I want toe able to watchthe episodes via streaming like I usually do but I also want the MAL Updater to update as I watch? Will it work?
