In the beginning it's not unusual to people have the feel that it's something "more than friends" -it's called 'yuri bait'- specially for those who loves or disgust yuri, but with the pass of the episodes, you'll see that it's just friendship. Those who say that is Yuri are because, in the deep, want to believe that it's something yuri; or, that are yuri haters (or lovers) and are sensitive to deep relationship between friends. So, in short, for me: NO, IT ISN'T YURI BUT A DEEP FRIENDSHIP. But it has 'yuri bait'? Yes. |

| Everyone's a lesbian, even the men. Honestly though there's plenty of yuri overtones and even straight up yuri. Don't let the yuri purists tell you otherwise. |

| It's probably because of popular it is in Jp ever sense it first came out. I can be sure this is most girl animes for them being aimed a male audiances. |

| I am pretty late. Technically, it's not. Yuri is no-holds barred girl2girl action. This one even pales in the category of shoujo ai. Regarding the relationships:: It's left to viewer's interpretation There's enough material for inspiring millions of doujins and fanarts, but that's often a given for all-girl action cast. You can ship if you like. You can consider them BFFs and/or platonic soulmates. Shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the show if you aren't into/averse to certain fetishes. There's a lurking hardcore shipping fanbase; they can be ignored if you are not into this. |

| I did not noticed any yuri throughout five seasons. Only female comradery and power of friendship. |
